- What videos can I process?
- Podcasts, interviews, streams, lectures, newscasts — anything with talking. One credit covers 20 minutes, and longer videos simply cost more. Paste a YouTube link, or upload the file from your computer or your phone.
- How does the AI pick the moments?
- It transcribes the video word by word, then scores each moment out of 100 on how well it holds up on its own and writes it a hook title. You stay in control: the trim points, the text, and the style are all editable.
- Does JessClip generate video, images, or voices?
- No. JessClip only cuts video you already have: every frame of a clip comes from the video you gave it, by link or by file. It creates no images, no video, no music, no voices, no avatars — and it cannot alter a face or a voice. Its AI does two things, both of which read rather than invent: it transcribes what is said, and it ranks the passages that hold up best on their own.
- How many clips per video?
- Between 5 and 10, depending on how dense the video is, ranked by score. You pay for the analysis of the video — not for the clips that come out of it, and not for their exports.
- What format are the clips in?
- Vertical MP4 at 1080 × 1920 with burned-in captions, ready to post on Reels, TikTok, Shorts, or LinkedIn. Rendering happens in your browser when it can, on our servers when it can't.
- How do credits work?
- One credit covers 20 minutes of video; every started 20-minute block costs one more. The clips that come out of it and their exports are unlimited. If a job fails, the credit goes back to your balance automatically.
- What happens to my videos?
- They're only used to produce your clips: the source file is deleted a week after processing, the audio the next day. If an identical video has already been analyzed on JessClip, that analysis is reused so you skip both the wait and the compute.
